Interestingly, their « masterpiece » also happened to be the most important fraud in the history of tobacco research. This is not the end of the story as Belgian researchers and friends of these individuals (FARES organisation chaired by Jean Paul Van Vooren; and Pierre NYS in particular) have further published two official documents desperately aiming at restoring the standard and reputation of the plagiarists’ “”book””.
